Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Padmavati’ has been making news ever since its conceptualisation. The latest buzz about this celebs and cinema stars filled Bollywood film is that its actress opposite Ranveer Singh has been revealed. Aditi Rao Hydari has now joined the lavish cast. The ‘Wazir’ actress will be playing Ranveer Singh’s wife in this period drama. Sticking to his reputation, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has apparently built a pomp set at a suburban studio in Mumbai for ‘Padmavati’.
‘Padmavati’s’ two leading celebs, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were reportedly at loggerheads over their parts in this Bhansali cinema. Shahid will be playing the role of Rajput King Raja Ratan Singh and Deepika will be his wife, Queen Padmavati. Ranveer Singh is portraying Alauddin Khilji, who falls in love with Queen Padmavati. The team of ‘Padmavati’, including the newest entrant Aditi Rao Hydari, will begin shooting soon and the makers are targeting a release in 2017.
