Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar’s camaraderie seems to have worked well at the box office. The first big release of 2016, ‘Wazir’ has made Rs 36.23 crore at the domestic box office and Rs 15 crore in the international market, with a gross of around Rs 51 core in 10 days of its release. The film has not faced any major competition since its release and also enjoys the benefit of big names being attached to it. While ‘Wazir’ may not have any sizzling item numbers to attract the audiences, it sure does boast of an impressive storyline. ‘Wazir’ is reportedly made on a medium budget of Rs 35 crore, and going by the business, producers Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani seem to have made a fair recovery.
