Rakhi Sawant today called a press conference after the death of Pratyusha Banerjee’s suspected suicide on April 1. The Bollywood-cum-TV actress claimed to reveal the reason behind Pratyusha’s tragic death.
Rakhi Sawant entered the press conference, dressed in a black jeans and a T-shirt, with a small ceiling fan in hand. Just so that the paparazzi get the best clicks of hers, Rakhi Sawant posed with the fan for the cameras. Pratyusha Banerjee’s body was found hanging from a ceiling fan in hall where she was residing, by her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.

Here are the six statements that Rakhi Sawant made at the press conference which was about to pay the last respects to Pratyusha Banerjee:
1. A video was sent to Pratyusha’s phone which Rahul Raj Singh has deleted. The video was sent to Pratyusha by Saloni Sharma, Rahul Raj Singh’s ex-girlfriend. He has even wiped off her call records and messages. The police should look into the matter and bring forth the truth. Pratyusha was my friend and hence everyone has come out to support her.
2. Whatever she used to do in her reality shows, she always used to ask me. I know her entire family. When she wanted to get her bridal ‘lehenga’ stitched, I had sent her my clicks in a red ‘lehenga’. Pratyusha liked it and she told fashion designer Rohit Verma that she wanted a ‘lehenga’ similar to what I had worn. Rohit had made a pretty ‘lehenga’ for her.

3. The entire scene is still flashing in front of my eyes… how we dressed Pratyusha as a bride for her funeral. I have not been able to sleep since four days. She is constantly coming in my dreams. I continuously feel that Pratyusha needs justice.
4. Dollyji (Dolly Bindra) and I were the only ones who went inside. We saw marks on her face. How can a girl of such short height hang herself on a ceiling fan?

5. It is important to ban ceiling fans because wives and girls commit suicide by hanging on it. I want to request Modiji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) to remove ceiling fans from homes. One should keep only ACs and table fans. I am going to donate 5,000 table fans to the needy.
6. I feel that Pratyusha Banerjee was first beaten up. There was a fight, after which she was hanged on the ceiling fan.
