Kareena Kapoor Khan recently lauded women who have spoken up against the sexual abuse at work place under the #MeToo movement in India. Encouraging the women to keep the momentum of the cause going, she said, “The fact that so many women have come out and spoken, it is a start. I appreciate the fact that they had the courage to stand up and talk. This is going to help us change our work place and give us security. We must keep the momentum and the conversation alive now. A lot will change.” Kareena Kapoor is all set to take up a new role as she turns Radio Jockey (RJ) with her new show ‘What Women Want’. This could well be the reason behind Kareena being so vocal about the #MeToo movement viz a viz sexual harassment.

On the work front, Kareena has two plum roles under her belt. The actress plays the lead in Karan Johar-produced ‘Good News’ alongside Aksay Kumar and will also be portraying a vital role in period drama ‘Takht’ opposite Ranveer Singh.
