Arjun Kapoor has become one of the most sought after celebs and cinema stars, his latest acquisition being Bollywood film ‘Ek Villain’s’ sequel. Buzz suggests that the actor has been roped in by director Mohit Suri to feature in the sequel to the 2014 thriller which starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh. The female lead and the rest of the cast for ‘Ek Villain’ sequel are yet to be revealed. Arjun is currently waiting for the release of ‘Namaste England’, which releases next month. Apart from these two Bollywood films, Arjun has a busy year ahead with as many as three movies, ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’, ‘Panipat’ and ‘Most Wanted’.

A couple of years back, rumours were rife that Alia Bhatt did not want Sidharth Malhotra to sign up another film opposite Shraddha Kapoor because of their closeness during the shoot of ‘Ek Villain’. Though Shraddha had denied this saying, “I am hearing it for the first time! There is absolutely no truth to this! I am very fond of Alia. We have always been very fond of each other and I really admire her,” back then. Now with Arjun Kapoor replacing Sidharth Malhotra in the ‘Ek Villain’ sequel, Alia Bhatt can heave a sigh of relief!
