Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming biopic ‘Super 30’, which is based on genius mathematician Anand Kumar, was recently caught in major controversy. The allegations levelled against Anand Kumar were that he was earning money by misleading his students who appeared for the Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE). Rumours were rife that the team of ‘Super 30’ hence decided to distance itself from the tainted Anand Kumar. However, the posters of the film that were just released continue to credit Anand Kumar for inspiring the Bollywood movie. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Hrithik Roshan plays the math whiz in this biopic, which is scheduled to release in January 2019.
The shoot of ‘Super 30’ started in the holy city of Varanasi from February this year and Hrithik Roshan’s first look as the humble mathematics professor Anand Kumar impressed everyone in Bollywood. Unkempt hair and a beard defined his persona as the maths genius in the film. For those who are unaware, Anand Kumar is known to train underprivileged children for IIT-JEE and thus helps them in achieving great heights, the plot on which ‘Super 30’ is made.
