Late actress Sridevi is conferred with the National Award for the best actress for her film ‘Mom’ posthumously while popular musician AR Rahman has bagged two National Awards – Best Music Direction for ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ (Tamil) and Best Background Score for ‘Mom’. Late actor Vinod Khanna is conferred with the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award.
