Twinkle Khanna has announced the release date of her maiden home production, ‘PadMan’, for April 13, 2018. Akshay Kumar will play the lead in this Bollywood film which will throw the light on the subject of menstruation and sanitary napkins. ‘PadMan’ is a biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantham, who is famously known as the ‘menstruation man’. Come 2018 and Akki promises an adventurous ride. First off, he will be seen as a tough villain alongside Rajinikanth in ‘2.0’ which releases on the long weekend of Republic Day. To make the most, the Akshay Kumar-starrer will release on January 25, 2018. And after ‘PadMan’ in April, Akshay will don a vintage avatar romancing Mouni Roy in Reema Kagti’s sports drama ‘Gold’. It will release during the Independence Day, on August 15, 2018. With as many as three films releasing in 2018 so far, Akshay Kumar will have an eventful year.
