Rishi Kapoor is the one to call a spade a spade without mincing words, and with Twitter at his fingertips the veteran celebrity actor is forever ready to voice his opinions. Yesterday, Bollywood’s much loved star Vinod Khanna passed away and Rishi Kapoor, who has worked with him in quite a few films, attended his funeral at Worli in Mumbai. While attending Vinod Khanna’s funeral, Rishi Kapoor observed that none of the current lot of celebs and cinema stars were present at the funeral. Knowing this, a furious Rishi tweeted, “Shameful. Not one actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna’s funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect. When I die, I must be prepared. None will shoulder me. Very, very angry with today’s so-called stars. Angry.” Although he didn’t name anyone in particular, it seems like Rishi Kapoor is pointing a finger at Salman Khan, who has worked with Vinod Khanna in several hits like ‘Wanted’ and ‘Dabangg’ and even consider the late actor as his lucky mascot. Rishi Kapoor also would have been miffed with even Shah Rukh Khan, who has worked with Vinod Khanna in ‘Dilwale’. Although SRK was missing from the funeral as he was at TED Talks in Canada.

Not stopping at that, an angry and furious Rishi Kapoor went on to point out the double standards of celebrities and cinema stars from the entertainment industry, mainly Bollywood. “Met so many ‘chamcha’ people last night at Priyanka Chopra’s do. Few at Vinod’s (funeral). So f****** transparent. So angry with them,” he said. Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor and wife Neetu Kapoor were out of town and hence missing from the funeral, otherwise they would definitely have been there, the Bollywood actor shared.
