Shahid Kapoor will step into the biopic zone with a film on star boxer Ngangom Dingko Singh, and with this move, he will also don producer’s hat. Buzz suggests that Shahid has collaborated with Raj Krishna Menon to coproduce the project, which is in its scripting stage. As Shahid marks his production debut, preparations on the film have begun, with the actor visiting Dingko Singh, who hails from the state of Manipur, India. To speed up the project, locations too are being finalised on the sidelines. The biopic will be directed by Raj Krishna Menon, with the team shooting in Dingko’s hometown Manipur, and also in Delhi and abroad. As part of preparations for Dingko Singh’s biopic, Shahid will soon be undergoing professional training as a boxer.
Dingko Singh aside, Shahid Kapoor is currently shooting for ‘Kabir Singh’ with Kiara Advani. The film is a remake of the Telugu flick ‘Arjun Reddy’ and is being shot extensively in Mumbai and Delhi.
