After facing protests in the states of Rajasthan and Maharashtra (Kolhapur), Sanjay Leela Bhansali has erected the sets of his upcoming Bollywood film ‘Padmavati’ in Mumbai. A camp-like set for Mughal ruler Alauddin Khilji, played by Ranveer Singh, has been erected in Dahisar locality of Mumbai and the filmmaker is busy shooting the period drama with Ranveer. Another elaborate set has been put up at the Film City studios in Mumbai and the team of ‘Padmavati’ is busy juggling between the two different shooting locations which are about one-and-a-half hour drive from each other, to say the least. However, it seems like Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh are finally shooting with peace despite the two locations being around 50 kilometres away. Deepika Padukone plays the titular role while Shahid Kapoor plays her husband, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in ‘Padmavati’.
