Walking into the premiere of his upcoming movie ‘Sarbjit’, Randeep Hooda got angry on a journalist for asking him a pointed question. It is not new that Randeep Hooda is being showered with praise for his amazing transformation into Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh, who was held prisoner in Pakistan. However, has all this stardom gone to his head and is it becoming difficult for the movie actor to handle it all? Or is it plain and simple stress?
At the recently premiere of ‘Sarbjit’, Randeep Hooda cut off a journalist rudely. Apparently, Randeep was being asked if he felt overshadowed with the presence of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the film, as she is known to be a bigger star. At first, Randeep ignored the question, but on asking him the same thing again, Randeep yelled, “You shut up, man!” by pointing a finger to the reporter. This rude behaviour of his shocked everyone present there and took shape into a little brouhaha.
When the actor was questioned why he responded so badly to the question, Randeep explained, “I ignored your question. You can keep asking the same thing, but what am I going to do?” The journalist stated that a ‘no comments’ would have been a better response over the rude “shut up”. In a bid to calm things down, the actor then responded, “No comments, bro! Is that better? Alright?” in the process sounding a bit rude again. Realising that the whole episode can snowball into a larger controversy, Randeep then blew a friendly kiss to the reporter (albeit, not sounding convincing again) and walked away for the premiere with his sister Dr Anjali Hooda. But guess the damage was done by then.
