Shah Rukh Khan’s dwarf drama has been in the news since long, thanks to its much speculated cast. Celebs & Cinema had earlier reported how Alia Bhatt was approached for the film, directed by Anand L Rai, but it seems like the Bollywood actress has only a few dates left to spare for Shah Rukh Khan’s film. The latest update about the untitled film’s cast is that the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ trio of SRK, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma is engaged for this dwarf movie! While Katrina was always rumoured to be associated to this project, the other name was that of Deepika Padukone. But reports now suggest that Anushka Sharma has been successfully roped in for the role, with Deepika leaving the picture. The Bollywood film is about two female leads, wherein Anushka has been cast to portray a mentally challenged character, Katrina to play herself and Shah Rukh Khan as a dwarf.
Interestingly, Anushka Sharma had marked her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and the duo went on to be cast in several films together thereafter. Anushka and Shah Rukh are currently wrapping up Imtiaz Ali’s next, tentatively titled ‘The Ring’, and will then proceed to shoot for Anand L Rai’s dwarf drama along with Katrina Kaif.
