‘Begum Jaan’, depicting Vidya Balan in the rebellious avatar, released today. At a special screening of the Bollywood film, Vidya Balan revealed that her husband Sidharth Roy Kapur was going to watch the film a second time! “He has already seen ‘Begum Jaan’ and he really loved the movie. He is going to watch it again,” reveals Vidya. The actress seems thrilled to receive the response from the fraternity. “Families and close friends have seen the movie and we are very excited about the release,” adds Vidya. Directed by Srijit Mukherji, ‘Begum Jaan’ is a partition drama, with Vidya playing a brothel madam.
