Saif Ali Khan’s cooking skills will make their way to the silver screen on October 6 as his upcoming Bollywood film ‘Chef’ finally gets a release date. ‘Chef’ was to earlier release on July 14, however to avoid a clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’, the team of ‘Chef’ announced that they would postpone their release date. October is comparatively a less crowded month and ‘Chef’ will enjoy some good number of screens, believe the filmmakers. ‘Chef’ is based on a Hollywood film by the same name which traces the life of an ambitious, professional chef and father of one, who quits his job at a restaurant to start his own food truck. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, ‘Chef’ has been shot at exotic locales.
