Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are all set to grace the silver screen as husband and wife to tell a story of an ageing couple, suggest reports. Shoojit Sircar, who has directed Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Piku’, and was the producer of ‘Pink’, will helm this untitled project. Amitabh and Jaya will play a couple married since four decades, spending their old age together in the fear of what will happen to the other if one of them passes away. There has been no official confirmation, but if this project is shot for the silver screen then Amitabh and Jaya will work together again in a feature film after 16 long years. Bachchans played husband and wife in 2001 release ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ after which the Hindi cinema’s celeb couple was seen in a cameo in last year’s film ‘Ki & Ka’.
