Akshay Kumar’s realistic film ‘Airlift’ is growing by leaps and bounds at the box office. The film, which has got a lot of positive word of mouth publicity, saw a huge rise in numbers in its first weekend. According to trade reports, ‘Airlift’ collected Rs 12.35 crore on Friday, Rs 14.60 crore on Saturday and recorded a huge leap on Sunday, with staggering collections standing at Rs 17.35 crore. ‘Airlift’s’ first domestic weekend roundup at the box office stands at a proud figure of Rs 44.30 crore. Akshay Kumar’s fans across the border too have been showering love on the actor, adding considerably to the numbers.
