Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra-starrer ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ was to hit the screens on March 1. However, with two more films lined up for the same date, ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ seems to have bowed out of competition. ‘Sonchiriya’, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kartik Aaryan-Kriti Sanon’s love story ‘Luka Chuppi’ will hit the screens on the same day, March 1. Trade buzz suggests that the production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) is keen for ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ to have a solo release and hence is scouting for a new date. Apparently, YRF’s last mega outing, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, resulted in a bad run at the box office and hence the production house is now treading safely for its future releases.
