Bollywood celeb Priyanka Chopra has been busy investing in regional cinema and her first Marathi production ‘Ventilator’ has done a decent job at the Box Office (BO). While the first weekend collection of this Marathi movie was somewhere around Rs 11.5 crore, till date ‘Ventilator’ is said to have collected Rs 25 crore at the Box Office. Considering it’s regional cinema, the BO collection is considered on much higher side. If trade buzz is anything to go by then producer PeeCee is being showered with offers to remake ‘Ventilator’ in other languages like Tamil, Telugu and Gujarati because of this. While Piggy Chops is away shooting for the second season of her American TV show ‘Quantico’, her maiden Marathi project is being showered with praise. ‘Ventilator’ stars Ashutosh Gowariker in an important role and is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. It remains to be seen if Priyanka Chopra is ready to share the story in other languages or not, considering that she has all the rights of the film. ‘Ventilator’ released on November 4 in India.
