The festival of colours is round the corner but Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt strictly stays away from playing Holi. “As a kid I used to play Holi a lot but I am a bit scared now. With all the colours, it causes skin allergy. So I don’t celebrate Holi,” says Alia. Even if she doesn’t play with colours, the celebrations don’t cease to exist for this Bollywood babe on Holi-day. Alia adds, “On that day we used to have a holiday, so that was one time when you could do nothing and just hang out with your friends. I cherish that the most. Then of course, you feel like having a lot of samosas, jalebis and thandai,” letting us in on how she used to binge on all the street food during her younger days.
Alia Bhatt also shares a message of safety as a responsible citizen with all her fans, “I don’t play Holi but I want to tell those who do that please be very safe and take care of others. Please be careful while playing with water balloons. It may hit someone badly.”
