Disney’s ‘The Jungle Book’ is gearing up for a release in India and Bollywood’s veteran actor Nana Patekar has dubbed for the fearsome tiger Shere Khan’s voice in the film. Back in the early ’90s too Nana Patekar had lent his voice for the same character.
Reminiscing his old days, the actor says, “Many years back when the film was released by NFDC (Hindi adaptation), (producer) Ravi Malik had asked me whether I would like to play a part in it. I simply agreed as I did not have enough money at that time. I was paid about Rs 3,000 to 5,000. But this time, money wasn’t an issue, I just wanted to reminisce my good old days and I am happy about it.” ‘The Jungle Book’ is set to release next week and is an advanced version of the 1967 classic animated movie.
