Diana Penty marked her Bollywood debut as a simpleton opposite Saif Ali Khan in 2012 release ‘Cocktail’. After four long years of no silver screen appearance, Diana’s second film, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ is set to release in August.
Justifying her disappearance from the Bollywood maps, Diana says, “I think there is a right place and time for everything. This was the right time for me. The script was really unique, obviously not something that you have heard before. The character too was drastically different from what I had done previously. I wanted ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ to be like a challenge. It was like going out of my comfort zone and doing something that no one ever expected. Hence I decided to take up this movie.” Diana Penty plays the central role of Happy in this cinema, which also stars celebrities like Jimmy Sheirgill, Abhay Deol and Ali Fazal.
