Sushant Singh Rajput is all pepped up after his recent visit to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as part of the preparations for his upcoming film ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’. Sharing his experience of being at the US astronomical agency, an excited Sushant says, “I always wanted to go to NASA! I stayed there for a while and did all that an astronaut is supposed to do! I dropped out of engineering but still got the opportunity to visit NASA, while my friends, who successfully completed their education, couldn’t. I made sure to click pictures and make them jealous!”
With no enormous budget at their disposal, Sushant Singh Rajput is hoping to surprise the audiences. “‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ will be India’s first space movie. Knowing that we have seen films like ‘Gravity’ and ‘Interstellar’, and we don’t have $110 million to make the film, makes it very challenging. We are trying to create the same experience without that much of funding,” updates Sushant. ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ will be directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and will also feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan.
