Bollywood director Vikas Bahl has left behind the debacle of ‘Shaandaar’ and is now busy concentrating on a biopic. This filmmaker is neither going to pursue any sports star, nor is he featuring any criminal in his upcoming biopic. Vikas Bahl will rather be making a film on IIT genius Anand Kumar. Anand Kumar is famous for coaching economically recessive students for the IIT entrance exam and is also a youth icon to some. Kumar hails from Bihar and is known for the Indian educational Super 30 programme, which is also said to be the name of this biopic. Vikas Bahl is preparing for this film in a big way while the team of his production house Phantom Films is gearing up for a pomp announcement.

Anand Kumar’s Bollywood connection:
While one may think that Bollywood has woken up a bit late on Anand Kumar’s impressive and inspiring life and his achievements, way back in 2011, director Anurag Basu and writer Sanjeev Dutta were contemplating making the biopic on the genius mathematician. Anand Kumar is said to have trained Amitabh Bachchan for the movie star’s Bollywood film ‘Aarakshan’. Bachchan’s character was loosely based on Anand Kumar.
