Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma have undergone a massive makeover for their ‘desi’ avatar in their upcoming film together, ‘Sui Dhaaga’. Mauji, aka Varun Dhawan, and Mamta, aka Anushka Sharma, will romance each other for the first time in this film, which is inspired by the highly acclaimed Make In India campaign by the Government of India. Varun plays a tailor while Anushka plays an embroiderer in ‘Sui Dhaaga’. The duo has been taking several workshops to match their rustic characters. Varun and Anushka recently left for Bhopal to shoot for the film. ‘Sui Dhaaga’ is directed by Sharat Kataria and is slated to release on September 28, 2018.
