Urmila Matondkar marries Kashmiri businessman

The actress did not invite any Bollywood celebrity for her hush-hush wedding

It looks like the season of weddings in Bollywood as yet another B-Town actress has got hitched. ‘Rangeela’ girl Urmila Matondkar has got married to Kashmir based businessman Mohsin Akhtar Mir. The entire marriage was low key and all the wedding ceremonies took place in the presence of a select few. The actress’ mehendi ceremony was also a close knit one.

This Bollywood wedding was solemnised according to Hindu rituals, with Urmila decking up in a Manish Malhotra lehenga. Apparently, the designer was the only celebrity from Bollywood attending the wedding.

Urmila’s marriage took place at her Bandra residence. The actress has been away from the limelight for a long time now and seemingly preferred not to invite anyone from Bollywood.

Urmila Matondkar made for the prettiest bride adding a Maharashtrian touch to her look with traditional green bangles. Her last Hindi film was in 2008, ‘EMI – Liya Hai Toh Chukana Padega’, post which she did a few cameos and a Marathi film in 2014, ‘Ajoba’.

Urmila has played muse to Ram Gopal Varma as both have worked on many films together. He along with Rishi Kapoor, several Bollywood celebrities wished the couple on their wedding.
