Twinkle Khanna launches own production house, casts Akshay Kumar!

Twinkle Khanna has launched her own production house titled Mrs Funnybones Movies, similar to the way she is known for her literary work. Producer Twinkle Khanna has even conceptualised her first film – R Balki’s next directorial which features celebs and cinema world stars like Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles. A special appearance by Amitabh Bachchan too is on the cards in this Twinkle Khanna film. When asked about the film, Akshay jokingly says, “She (Twinkle) is the producer and I will work on a salary.” Twinkle Khanna has always been credited as a co-producer in all Hari Om Productions’ Bollywood films, founded by Akshay Kumar and named after his late father. But the celebrity actress-turned-writer has never been involved or participated actively in any aspect of filmmaking at that time. This time however Twinkle has big plans as she wants to shine even brighter. A source informs, “There are two kinds of slates being planned for Mrs Funnybones Movies for 2017 – one for mainstream Bollywood films and the second for off-beat fare. All the films will be presented by Twinkle.”
