‘Gold’, a sports based biopic, is set to feature Akshay Kumar in the lead role and the makers have reportedly roped in Mouni Roy for this project. To be directed by Reema Kagti, ‘Gold’ is touted to be a film inspired from the life of hockey player Balbir Singh. While there has been no official confirmation on the same, Mouni seems to be all set for a big Bollywood ticket. The TV celebrity has been a part of several popular small screen shows like ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ and ‘Naagin’ and also made an appearance alongside Salman Khan on ‘Bigg Boss 10’.
