Salman Khan has marked yet another stunning opening at the box office, with ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ fetching an impressive Rs 33.75 crore nett on its first day of release. The second biggest opener of 2017, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ had bagged an impressive number as it was evident with its advance booking all over the world. The film recorded an impressive growth over the weekend with Rs 35.25 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 44 crore nett on Sunday, according to some early estimates coming in, fiercely chasing the Rs 150 crore mark. Director Ali Abbas Zafar says, “It is a humbling moment. I thank the audiences for showering so much love on ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The cast and crew have toiled their hearts out and this incredible success will be cherished by all of us,” with unmistakable excitement in his voice. ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ opened to a massive 4,600 screens in India and on another 1,100 screens worldwide, totalling to 5,700 screens. The Salman Khan-starrer and Yash Raj Films-produced is made on a whopping budget of Rs 150 crore, out of which Rs 113 crore is already recovered in just three days by ticket sales in India.
