Sridevi will grace the silver screen with ‘Mom’, which comes five years after her big screen comeback titled ‘English Vinglish’ in 2012. The makers of ‘Mom’ have preponed the Bollywood film by a week and will release the thriller drama on July 7 instead of its previous date of July 14. Interestingly, July 14 is a crowded Friday with a lot of biggies releasing on that day. There are Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif’s much delayed ‘Jagga Jasoos’, Saif Ali Khan’s cooking drama ‘Chef’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s female don film ‘Haseena’, all of which are vying for July 14 release. With so many films lined up for the same date, the makers of Sridevi’s ‘Mom’ decided to come in a week before and will now release with the English film ‘Spider-Man Homecoming’. Produced by Boney Kapoor, ‘Mom’ also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna in important roles.
