Sonam Kapoor seems to have bagged an interesting film adaptation. If the trade buzz is to be believed then the actress has given a nod to a Bollywood film based on writer Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel ‘The Zoya Factor’. The film rights of the book were first purchased by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies, but for a long time the flick did not materialise. Pooja Shetty, daughter of Manmohan Shetty of the Adlabs Films, has bought the rights of ‘The Zoya Factor’ and have cast Sonam Kapoor in the lead role. The book is about Zoya Singh Solanki, who meets the Indian cricket team as a part of her job of an advertising executive, and is considered a lucky charm for the men-in-blue. It further follows by her love-hate relationship with an ace Indian skipper.
While Sonam Kapoor is set to play the leading lady in ‘The Zoya Factor’ novel’s adaptation, it remains to be seen as to who will play her romantic interest in the film. Apart from ‘The Zoya Factor’ adaptation, Sonam will be seen in ‘PadMan’, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ and a cameo in Sanjay Dutt’s untitled biopic.
