As a matter of justifying this observation, something similar occurred at a recent event when the ‘Neerja’ actress was asked about restrictions on women. Voicing her opinion, Sonam Kapoor said, “I don’t believe in restrictions. Everyone should have his/her own choice. Whether you want wear a burkha or a sport a bikini, whether it is your religion or the way you want to dress, or even whether it is your preference of sexuality. Nobody should be told what to do. The more you censor someone, there will be more rebellion. If everyone is not given a choice then what is the point of being Indian?
