Last Friday, two big films released at the Bollywood Box Office, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Freaky Ali’ and Sidharth Malhotra-Katrina Kaif’s ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. While both the movies couldn’t manage staggering numbers despite being big celebs attached to them, director of ‘Freaky Ali’, Sohail Khan is still positive about both the films. “About 400 films release per year and there are only 50 weeks. So you have to clash with some film or the other. If it wouldn’t have been ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ then it would have been ‘Pink’ and ‘Raaz Reboot’. It all depends upon the business. Both of us had enough theatres and I don’t feel we have eaten into each other’s business. We have managed to create our own platforms,” says Sohail Khan. The Box Office collection of sports comedy ‘Freaky Ali’ is around Rs 10 crore whereas romantic comedy ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ has managed to collect approximately Rs 21 crore.
