Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, and Kunal Khemu had some special visitors as they shot for Abhishek Varma’s ‘Kalank’. The team is shooting in Mumbai and the shoot was disrupted on Monday evening due to two snakes. Alia and Varun were shooting for an intense sequence when the crew spotted two snakes inching towards them. Though the crew took the reptiles back in the jungle but the shoot was stalled for an hour. A source reveals, “On Monday afternoon, there was a lot of commotion on set because the snakes were huge and the shoot had to be stopped immediately. The snakes were taken back into the jungle, and after this incident the crew is taking precautions to ensure everyone’s safety.” Interestingly, a similar incident had occurred, on the same sets when Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were shooting for ‘My Name Is Khan’, with Abhishek Varman was an assistant director.
Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, and Kunal Khemu are on a 45-days schedule and will soon be joined by Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt. ‘Kalank’ is an epic period drama, produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment is slated to release on April 19, 2019.
