Away from the crazy fans and questioning media, Shah Rukh Khan rang in his 51st birthday at his beach bungalow in Alibaug. The eager fans, waiting outside his sea-facing Bandra bungalow Mannat will have to do without a glimpse of the Bollywood star this year. SRK has decided to party with close friends and family on his birthday, which falls on November 2. Buzz is that Shah Rukh will be joined by close buddies and celebs and cinema kingdom’s A-listers Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Manish Malhotra and Farah Khan today. Another friend, Sanjay Kapoor shared a picture from the party, posing with daughter Shanaya and Shah Rukh Khan. Industry buzz suggests that birthday boy Shah Rukh Khan decided to do away with the press conference, which he holds at Mannat every year, as he did not want to answer queries on the ‘Raees’ and Mahira Khan controversy.
On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who turned 43 yesterday, celebrated her birthday in a rather quiet manner. The actress, who is seen in recently released ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, had an intimate dinner with family and friends in Mumbai on November 1, her birthday. Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonali Bendre, Kunal Kapoor, Naina Bachchan, Manish Malhotra and Sikander Kher attended the birthday gathering. Reports state that the Bachchans might make their way to Alibaug to ring in Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday today with other celebs and cinema world stars.
