After conquering Bollywood, Karan Johar, with a lot of vigour and enthusiasm, is returning with ‘Koffee With Karan’ in the fifth season of his popular chat show on TV. The Bollywood filmmaker-judge-host can’t contain his excitement to tee off the project and has already started working on it. ‘Koffee With Karan’ season five will air in the latter half of the year, sometime between September and November, informs Karan.
Ask him if Shah Rukh Khan will be a part of the show and Karan quips, “Shah Rukh has to come, he is a part of my family and hopefully I will get Shah Rukh Khan in the first episode itself.” The Bollywood star had stirred a controversy by not appearing in the last season of the show, while Salman Khan was invited to take the first sip of Karan’s ‘Koffee’.
However, now that Salman and Shah Rukh have buried the hatchet, Karan Johar is hoping that the two of the top most Bollywood Khans will do more than just appearing together on ‘Koffee With Karan’. “It would be even more exciting to see Salman and Shah Rukh do a film together. I hope that one day we will be the audience to a great moment of cinema with Salman and Shah Rukh Khan in it,” says Karan Johar who has made many careers in Bollywood himself.
