Contrary to reports, Irrfan Khan’s publicist denies that the actor or his family is using Shah Rukh Khan’s house in London during the former’s cancer treatment
Irrfan Khan is stationed in London, undergoing treatment for neuro-endocrine cancer. Some recent reports suggested that Shah Rukh Khan had offered the keys of his London home to Irrfan and his family, so that the ‘Piku’ star could feel at home during his cancer treatment in the UK. However, Irrfan Khan’s spokesperson denied any such event, “The story of Shah Rukh and Irrfan, which is floating around, is a figment of some individual’s imagination, who has whipped up the tale through their unreliable sources. It has no truth to it. While they both are friends, the story of their meeting and the subsequent incidents has no truth.” Irrfan was recently awarded the Best Performance In A Leading Role (Male) for his work in ‘Hindi Medium’ and the actor had thanked everyone for the award on Twitter.
