Shah Rukh Khan at TED Talks: An ageing star grappling with all the newness
As Shah Rukh Khan graced the TED Talks in Vancouver, the first Bollywood celebrity to take the stage there said that he is an ageing star grappling with all the newness
Shah Rukh Khan delivered a witty speech as he became first Bollywood actor to make an appearance at TED Talks in Canada. One of the top most Khans of Hindi cinema flew down to Vancouver to deliver a motivational speech in his signature witty style! Shah Rukh Khan left the audiences charmed calling himself an ageing movie star grappling with all the newness. “Humanity is a lot like me. It’s an ageing movie star, grappling with all the newness, wondering whether she got it right,” said 51-year-old Shah Rukh Khan in his typically tongue-in-cheek humour at the TED Talks.
Sharing a piece of advice at the TED Talks, SRK said, “You can use your energy to spread the darkness of destruction or you can use it to spread the joy of light to millions.” Adding a dash of energy to the event, SRK shook a leg on his popular song ‘Lungi Dance’ from ‘Chennai Express’ while on stage.
Shah Rukh Khan is set to take TED Talks to a bigger level as the actor will host TED Talks India on Star Plus, which will be titled ‘Nayi Soch’, and the channel is expected to start promotions and shoot soon.
