Sara Ali Khan to finally debut with Karan Johar’s Simmba
After much deliberation between ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Simmba’, Sara Ali Khan will finally debut with Karan Johar-produced and Rohit Shetty-directed cop drama ‘Simmba’ against Ranveer Singh
Sara Ali Khan was one star kid whom Karan Johar was keen to launch. However the aspiring actress went on to sign up KriArj Entertainment’s ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput as her debut. But since destiny would have some other plans, ‘Kedarnath’ was postponed to January 2019 while Sara’s other film, with Karan Johar, ‘Simmba’, will now mark her debut, as it will hit the screens on December 28, 2018. ‘Kedarnath’ was postponed due to a tiff between director Abhishek Kapoor and producers Prerna Arora and Arjun N Kapoor. In the meantime, Karan Johar cast Sara opposite Ranveer Singh in ‘Simmba’, a cop drama directed by Rohit Shetty.
