Ranbir Kapoor is grabbing all the eyeballs for his physical transformation for Sanjay Dutt biopic. However the wait to see him on the silver screen just got longer! While initially the makers had announced Christmas 2017 as the Dutt biopic release date, according to trade buzz, the yet untitled film will hit the screens only in March 2018, thus pushing the Bollywood movie by a good three months. There is no clarification or reasons given from the makers though as to why the Dutt biopic has been postponed. One of the reasons behind the film’s delay being speculated is the post-production work, which is said to be running behind schedule, as it happens with many big Bollywood films. The much awaited biopic will narrate Sanjay Dutt’s journey from his early days in the entertainment industry to his release from the Yerwada Jail in 2016. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Dutt biopic has been shot mostly in Mumbai, while a few scenes have been canned even at Sanju’s palatial Mumbai residence. Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala are a few important additions to the cast, with Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of Sanjay Dutt. But the wait to peep into Sanjay Dutt’s personal and professional life through his biopic has only got longer!
