Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has collected an enormous Rs 300 crore at the box office, and still refuses to slow down. Produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ crossed the triple century on Saturday after raking in Rs 5.62 crore on that day, garnering a total of Rs 300.89 crore at the end of 16 glorious days at the box office. While the long weekend worked in the film’s favour, the Maharashtra Bandh called by some groups affected the film’s collections adversely on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, Salman Khan has still managed to give Yash Raj Films highest grosser till date in the form of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The failure of ‘Tubelight’ is now faded in the past, while anticipation mounts for Salman’s next Eid release, the thriller ‘Race 3’. Time will tell if Salman will be able to repeat the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ success or not.
