Aamir Khan will not promote ‘Dangal’ on Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 10’, or for that matter on any TV show, as the celeb and cinema star is staying away from small screen for his upcoming Bollywood flick
Aamir Khan has been a leader in film marketing. With ‘Dangal’ ready for release next month, Aamir Khan has revealed something very interesting about publicity plans for his upcoming Bollywood flick. “I am not doing any promotions on the small screen. Our advertisements and promos will run on TV but I am not going to shoot for any show,” says Aamir when asked about promotions on Salman Khan hosted TV show ‘Bigg Boss 10’. ‘Dangal’ is a first mega budget movie which has totally shunned all the TV shows in the recent past, and not just ‘Bigg Boss 10’.
‘Dangal’ will hit the screens on December 21 and the release date is giving Aamir the jitters, who has taken to smoking. “I am not happy that I
smoke. But when my film is close to release, I get worried and get a lot of tension. Hence I start smoking. But I also stop soon. I don’t think smoking has an effect on acting. It affects your stamina and health. I tell everyone to not smoke,” preaches Aamir.
