Ranveer Singh has turned a cop for Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar’s next venture titled ‘Simmba’. Ranveer will play the titular role of Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba. The actor looks flashy in the first look poster, complementing his colourful real life personality. Apparently, Rohit Shetty wanted a few scenes from the hit Telugu flick ‘Temper’, which starred Jr NTR, for ‘Simmba’ and hence he decided to purchase the rights of the southern film.
After the immense success of ‘Golmaal Again’, Rohit Shetty is promising yet another joyride with ‘Simmba’, which is also his first feature film collaboration with Ranveer Singh. ‘Simmba’ will release on December 28 next year, promising a perfect end to 2018. Interestingly, Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar will also come together for talent hunt reality show, ‘India’s Next Superstars’.
