Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are caught in a cheating controversy as an FIR has been lodged against the celebrity couple at the Thane police station by a textile firm owner. It has been alleged that Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra collected money from sale through their shopping channel Best Deal but failed to pay the same to a vendor, Mr Bhalotia, duping him of Rs 24 lakhs. However, Raj Kundra retorted on such allegation saying, “Sadly, it’s so easy to register FIRs in India, a complete misuse of power by a crooked vendor, Bhalotia, who owes Best Deal money! I will counter this. It is the duty of the cops registering a case to check contracts and if they had then they would not have registered this fake case!” Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are currently in London but the businessman is keen to follow up the case in a legal way.
Back in 2015, Shilpa Shetty had joined hands with her alleged ex, Akshay Kumar, for a home shopping venture Best Deal TV. This case is in connection to bedsheets ordered by Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty’s first for sale on Best Deal from the vendor Bhalotia.
