Salman Khan-starrer ‘Race 3’ has indeed aced the box office game, having pocketed Rs 100 crore in its opening weekend. The action thriller opened with a whopping Rs 29.17 crore at the box office. The figures only increased over the weekend with a collection of Rs 38.14 crore on Saturday and Rs 39.16 crore on Sunday. This multi-starrer fetched Rs 106.47 crore in its first weekend, racing to the second position of the highest opening weekend of 2018 only after ‘Padmaavat’. ‘Race 3’ released on approximately 4,200 screens across the country and has already recovered its 100 crore-plus budget. With ‘Race 3’ bagging more than Rs 100 crore at the box office, it has once again been proved that Salman Khan’s film on Eid is a deadly combination!
