When the most of Bollywood is in New York for the 18th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, Priyanka Chopra, who is currently put up at the Big Apple, returned to Mumbai last night. Priyanka is skipping the gala awards for her producer duties and a short vacation in the city, making it a work-cum-pleasure trip. “It never gets old. Being home, Mumbai rains. The beauty in the chaos. Happy to be back in my city,” shared the actress. Priyanka Chopra’s second Marathi film, ‘Kay Re Rascala’, will hit the screens today and it seems like the actress is in mood for some promotions while she enjoys the Mumbai rains. Interestingly, Priyanka will also turn a year older on July 18, we wonder if the actress is planning to throw a big bash for her Bollywood pals in the city!
Priyanka recently began shooting for her third Hollywood film ‘Isn’t It Romantic?’ with Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine in New York. The film also stars Liam Hemsworth. Priyanka is set to play a Yoga ambassador in this Hollywood romantic comedy.
