Priyanka Chopra will soon be seen on the silver screen donning the police uniform as ‘Jai GangaaJal’ hits the screens on March 4. However, the actress is hardly seen promoting the movie as Piggy Chops is away shooting for her Hollywood debut, ‘Baywatch’. When director Prakash Jha is asked about Priyanka’s absence from the promotions, he defensively says, “She is promoting all the time, giving interviews on skype and tweeting all the time. Priyanka is also doing channel interviews from there.” PeeCee has been in the news for her international projects and Prakash Jha wants to be supportive of his actress, “We are happy that she is being offered that kind of job which is everyone’s dream. We are with her dreams. As for her responsibility for ‘Jai GangaaJal’, she is doing the best possible. Unfortunately, there is no item song in the film that we would have made her dance to.”
Priyanka is portraying SP Abha Mathur in ‘Jai GangaaJal’, the film which is made at a budget of approximately Rs 10 crore, produced by Prakash Jha.
