Presenting Ajay Devgn’s view on the Censor Board controversy

In a rather surprising move, when most of the celebs and cinema stars are speaking in one voice against the Censor Board, Ajay Devgn says that he has never faced any problems either with chief Pahlaj Nihalani or with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)

Pahlaj Nihalani, Censor Board chief, constantly remains in the eye of storm, with several celebs and cinema stars expressing disappointment regarding the censorship of their films. And while most of Bollywood has been criticising the Central Board of Film Certification’s (CBFC) head honcho’s ways, here’s Ajay Devgn who claims to have never got off on the wrong foot with the CBFC. “The films that I have made as a producer, and I have got censored, have never had a problem. I don’t know what the issue is, I don’t see any. I think if you rationalise with them (CBFC) then everything can be understood well, or this is what is my experience,” opines Ajay Devgn. Latest controversies of the Central Board of Film Certification include numerous cuts allotted to films like ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ and ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’. Among many other celebrities, Aamir Khan too recently opined that the CBFC’s job is only to grade a film and certify the age group which can watch the film, than to censor it.
