Parineeti Chopra has bagged a big ticket flick opposite Akshay Kumar, ‘Kesari’, which is produced by Karan Johar. Parineeti will play female lead in the film which is based on the battle of Saragarhi, which was fought between the Sikh soldiers of the British Army and the Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen in the year 1897. Akshay has already begun shooting for the historic drama wherein he essays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh. “I am so excited to be a part of this legendary journey,” shares Parineeti. ‘Kesari’ is directed by Anurag Singh and the makers plan to release the film during Holi 2019.
While Parineeti Chopra has already bagged ‘Kesari’ opposite Akshay Kumar, buzz is that the actress may also be cast opposite Khiladi Kumar in the comedy franchise ‘Housefull 4’. After a hit like ‘Golmaal Again’, Parineeti Chopra is working hard on ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ opposite Arjun Kapoor.
