The year 2017 has seen hardly any blockbusters at the Box Office, and Varun Dhawan describes the situation as a scary one. “Today, content is the star. The year 2017 has been the one in which films are not opening to numbers we want them to. That is very scary,” says the ‘Judwaa 2’ star. Varun goes on to comment about the way reviews are perceived now. “These days, people are waiting for a review at the end of each Friday. Some reviews are good, some are bad, but at times people who have not even watched the film comment about it. When there is love between audience and actor then people will come, although just for the first few days. But if your film is not good then it will not work,” opines Varun, reiterating that content is the king. Varun’s upcoming film ‘Judwaa 2’ is releasing on September 29.
